BJP State president Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo on Wednesday expelled Kendrapada district BJP executive member Bikram Keshari Routaray for anti-party activities.
“Routaray is contesting election as Independent candidate against party’s official nominee for the Mahakalpada Assembly constituency Bijay Mohapatra and hence expelled,” a party release said.The BJP on Thursday also expelled party State executive member Himansu Meher from the primary membership of the party on the charge of anti-party activities.Party State general secretary (Organisation) Prasanna Kumar Mishra said Meher was campaigning against the party’s nominated candidates.
