The BJD Government in its tenure of 22 years has indulged in corruption, sex scandals and all sorts of other illegal activities. Ruling party leaders, including Ministers and MLAs, besides being involved in the Archana Nag scandal and the death of Zilla Parishad Member Dharmendra Sahu are involved in tender-fixing, money laundering, alleged the BJP on Thursday.
Crores of taxpayers’ money are being used for the luxurious lifestyle of the BJD leaders. Over 12 Ministers and around 30 BJD MLAs used to frequent Archana’s house. Besides, huge transactions, tender-fixing, transfers and postings were being done at her house. The BJD leaders indulged in illegal activities under the patronage of the party chief, alleged the BJP members, who staged a dharna in front of the statue of Utkalgaurav Madhusudan Das near the Raj Bhavan.
They said such demonstrations were also held in 58 sub-divisions of the State.
