The BJP on Thursday hailed the decision of the State Government to increase the retirement age of its employees from 58 years to 60, but the party also demanded creation of job opportunities for the unemployed youths.
In a Press release, party State spokesperson Sajjan Sharma said the State Government has jumped the gun and openly violated the rules by making the announcement of its decision outside the Assembly, which is now in session.Sharma also alleged that the Government took the decision while the model code of conduct for the urban local body (UlB) polls in Balangir district is already in force.
