BJP Yuva Morcha State president Irasish Acharya on Tuesday demanded a CBI probe into the BJB College student Ruchika Mohanty suicide case.
Targeting the State Government for not taking any strong step to check incidents of ragging in different educational institutions in the State, he asked as to why CM Naveen Patnaik was not intervening in the issue though he always says that law would take its own course.
Acharya also demanded formation of a State-Level Anti-Ragging Task Force and enactment of an anti-ragging law in the Assembly.
