The BJP’s five-day padayatra from Bhubaneswar to Jadupur village in Naygarh district demanding justice for Pari and tracing of over 5,000 missing children of the State, concluded on Thursday.
The party reiterated its demand for a CBI probe into the Pari case and resignation of Minister Arun Sahoo saying the State Government instead of giving justice to Pari’s family, is trying to shield Babuli Nayak and his mentor Sahoo.
Special Investigation Team (SIT) chief Arun Bothra is trying to shield the State Government; and the Government in turn is monitoring the SIT.
The accused named by the victim’s mother haven’t been brought into the purview of investigations. This has raised many questions, said State BJP president Samir Mohanty.
“Earlier Bothra was known as the ‘Twitter king’; now, we have come to know that he is a master storyteller and scriptwriter, added Mohanty.A party delegation also met Pari’s family members at the village.
