A central team of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will visit Kunduli in Koraput district on Saturday for an on-the-spot probe into the alleged gangrape and suicide of the local minor Dalit girl.
The saffron party had earlier formed a three- member team led by BJP national general secretary and former MP Saroj Pandey.
The team will have other members like national general secretary Jyoti Dhrube and MP Anju Bala.
The team was constituted on the instructions of BJP national president Amit Shah. The team will submit its probe report to Shah, sources said.
Earlier, the BJP national president had strongly condemned the incident and alleged that the State Government is trying to sweep the issue under the carpet.
