The Kendrapada Nagar BJP activists led by its president Dillip Kumar Dash and former BJP district president Duryodhan Sahu, on Saturday, burnt the effigy of Jatani Congress MLA Suresh Kumar Routray at Santasahi bridge for consistently giving derogatory remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The derogatory remarks of Routray on PM Modi not only disrespect the Prime Minister’s post but also hurt the sentiments of crores of Indian. The insulting remarks in regular intervals by Routray unravels his intention to defame the PM and the country, they said.
The agitators demanded Routray’s dismissal from his MLA post and action against him as per legal provisions. Later, they registered a complaint against Routray at Kendrapada Town police station and demanded before the police to collect the video clips from different media sources and book Routray under National Security Act (NSA).
