To strengthen its base in Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s home turf Ganjam district, the BJP has planned to hold many political programmes in the current month.

According to the programmes finalised under its Mo Booth Sabuthu Majoboot druve so far, party’s national president Amit Shah would visit the district on June 23. He would go to a booth in a rural area and talk to workers there. Though date has been finalised, the booth was yet to be named by the party.

However, party sources said the Shah would visit to a booth in either Rangeilunda or Dingapahandi Assembly constituency, which are under the Brahmpuar lok Sabha segment.

Many Central leaders would accompany Shah. State BJP president Basanta Panda, Union Minster Dharmendra Pradhan and other senior leaders would finalise the programmes for the visit of Shah, informed district BIP president Kanhu Charan Pati.

Before the visit of Shah, Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh would visit the district and would attend the Modi Mela to be held on June 12, Pati said.

The BJP has targeted to infringe into the Chief Minister’s home turf Ganjam by organising many such political programmes.
