A resident of Satasankha, Kruttibas Mohapatra, has lodged an FIR with the Balanga police that the former MlA of Pipili and his supporters had abducted him.
In his complaint, Mohapatra alleged that former Pipli MlA Yudhisthir Samantray, his son Priyabrata Samantray, Councillor Chandan Sethi and advocate Prasanna Mohapatra abducted him when he had gone to their panchayat on Friday.
He also alleged that on Thursday, the former MlA and more than 20 of his supporters had also threatened and abducted him from near the Satsankha Congress party office for joining the BJP. Kruttibas Mohapatra said for more than 30 years he was a Congress activist, but before five months he has joined the BJP. The incident has become a hot topic of discussion in the area. Meanwhile, the police have lodged a case and investigating into it to unearth the truth.
