The BJP’s 14-day “Jana Paramarsha Padyatra” (people’s consultation rally) concluded here on Saturday in which hundreds of party activists moved door to door to seek people’s suggestions for providing good governance in coming years.
Members underthe leadership of Gosaninuagaon mandal president Madhusudan Sahu and former Corporator Dr Namita Rani Panda moved around Wards-25 and 26 of the locality and took suggestion of people.
On the last day, former Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) chief and BJP leader Siba Sankar Dash joined the Padyatra and encouraged the members and sensitised people about the various developmental schemes of the Central Government.
Among others, BJP Ganjam district president Kanhu Charan Pati, VP Sunil Sahu, leaders Kamana Padhy, Pravat Kiran Sadangi, D Karuna Kar and Sisir Padhy were present.
