BJD's 14 years create history for joblessness, scams: BJP Yuva Morcha

The BJP Yuva Morcha has called upon its workers to work hard to fulfill the BJP’s dream of ‘BJD Mukt Odisha in 2019’ while slamming the State Government for “creating history of unemployment and corruptions during its 14 years of rule.” “Even though the State is rich in natural resources like mines, minerals, water, forests, yet it has witnessed a manifold increase in unemployment during BJD’s 14 years of rule,” BJP Yuva Morca president Umakant Pattnaik said while addressing a meeting organised by the Mahanagar BJP Yuva Morcha here recently.

Patnaik said the unemployment problem has been so acute that lakhs of youths are leaving the State in search of jobs and working as dadan (migrant) workers in other States to earn their livelihood. Ironically, the number of such dadan workers is more in number in Ganjam district, the home district of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, than the number of any district.

“It is shocking. We have to take sanklap to make dream of the BJP to see “BJD Mukta State” in 2019,”he told workers, adding that party workers should visit every booth and every house in order to apprise the public about the ideologies of the party including BJP’s neeti (principles), nistha (honesty) and disha (the direction) on which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working hard to effect development in the country through “make in India” programme.

More than two hundred youths of the silk city and its adjoining areas joined the saffron party on the occasion. The meeting was presided by Mahanagar Yuva Morcha president Rupesh Mahapatra. Among others, the district BJP president Bijaya Kumar Swain, Pravat Kiran Sadangi, N Rajendra Kumar, Saroj Sabat and Sunil Kumar Sahu were present.
