Although the name of candidate for Anandpur Assembly (SC) constituency is going to be declared very soon by the BJD but there is no end to the public resentment against the sitting MLA Mayadhar Jena of the BJD.
This has come to light some days back recently when a group of people from Anandpur constituency had gone to Naveen Niwas to express their displeasure with the present MLA.
Their argument was that the public rapport of sitting MLA has dwindled while on the other hand, he has been keeping more contact with the contractors and supporters of other party. Whenever common people approach him for any problem, they find him absent in the locality.
Under the circumstances, if he is once again given the chance, the BJD might face defeat. They demanded for a new face preferably a womancandidate keeping in view the candidates of both BJP and Congress.
