The BJD would protest the visit of Union Handlooms and Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar to Bargarh on Friday.
“We will protest the Union Handlooms and Textiles Minister’s visit as the Ministry has not made any fund allocation for development of handloom and textile sectors in Odisha,” said Bargarh BJD MlA Debesh Acharya.
Notably, Minister Gangwar and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda reached Bhubaneswar on Thursday evening.
They are scheduled to attend BJP Vikash Utsav at Bargarh on Friday.
