BJD terms BJP rally as ‘Vinash Yatra’

The BJD on Monday termed the BJP’s proposed campaigns as nothing but its desperate attempt to sell lies of “Acche Din” like false promises and the Modi Government’s deceptions to Odisha over the last four and a half years.

“It’s actually a Jumla Bol Andolan. The biggest Jumla perpetuated by the BJP on Odisha is its lies on Special Category Status for Odisha which if promised in election manifesto but never implemented,” said BJD spokesperson Dr Sasmit Patra.

Failures in providing two crore jobs, depositing Rs 15 lakh in each person’s bank account, bringing back black money, checking inflation and checking prices are a long list of jumlas that are exposing the falsehood of the BJP, pointed out Patra

He said the BJP is scared of the high popularity of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and people’s huge support towards the BJD.

He termed the proposed BJP “Paribartan Yatra” as “Odisha Vinash Yatra’.

Patra said the Mahanadi waters are being stolen by the BJP Government in Chhattisgarh and the Polavaram Dam is going to be used by the BJP to flood southern parts of Odisha.

Not an inch of the Rs 30,000-cr Coastal Highway work of Rs 30,000 has been started. While the Railways is getting Rs 16,000-crore revenue from Odisha, not an inch of track for Nabarangpur-Malkangiri has been build despite land and 50 per cent  of project cost given by the Odisha Government, he said.
