A day after the BJP district unit lodged complaint against MP Ranjib Biswal making anti-saffron party remarks at the district Congress meeting, the district BJD unit has fumed against Rajya Sabha member Biswal who had made a few comments against State Planning Board Vice-Chairman Bishnu Das.
BJD district vice-president Dipti Das along with some other BJD leaders convened a Press conference on Saturday, where they disapproved of Biswal’s remark that Bishnu Das had been sacked from the Council of Ministers following his son’s mark sheet issue. Moreover, Das’ abrupt departure from his Rajya Sabha membership was also due to his incapability, Biswal had stated.
Besides, they also protested PCC president Niranjan Patnaik’s remarks on late Chief Minister Biju Patnaik and demanded that the Congress leaders tender an apology for it.
