Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday alleged that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is hoodwinking people in the name of KALIA Yojana, the authenticity of which has been questioned by the Election Commission.
“The State Government has not made any provision for execution of the KALIA Yojana and even has not published the list of beneficialries. However, the Chief Minister is using the Government scheme to have election gains,” alleged Pradhan.
He also wanted to know why the Chief Electoral Officer is silent over promotion of KALIA Yojana during election period when he responded to the BJD’s complaint against LPG connection. Earlier, the BJD had complained to the CEO that advertisement of the Centre’s Ujjwala scheme. He said people of the State have already opted for a change and the BJP will certainly form Government in the State and at the Centre as well.
