Organisational polls of the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) would be held in five phases between December 27 and February 26 across the party’s 33 organisational districts, party sources said on Friday.
The first phase would be held between December 27 and January 13, second phase between January 14 and 29, third phase between January 30 and February 15, fourth phase between February 16 and 18, and fifth phase between February 23 and 26.
BJD State returning officer Pratap Keshari Deb said the district returning officers have already been appointed after being trained for smooth conduct of the poll process. Assistant returning officers have also been appointed at the block level, he said.
