BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced the names of nine more candidates for Assembly seats in the State.
Pradeep Maharathy was re-nominated for Pipili, Surendra Sethi for Kakatpur, Samir Ranjan Dash for Nimapara and Dr Pramod Mallick for Niali. Prasant Muduli, the sitting MLA of Balikuda-Erasama, was shifted to Jagatsinghpur.
Raghunandan Das, who recently resigned from the BJP, was made the candidate for Balikuda-Erasama.
Then new candidates announced are Bhagirathi Sethi for Anandpur, Santosh Khatua for Nilgiri and Rajendra Dash for Dhamnagar.
