The BJD legal Front will hold a State-level lawyer’s conference at the Baliyatra ground in Cuttack on February 28. BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the event.
This was informed by the front’s State convenor Millan Kanungo at a Press conference here on Sunday.
The objective of holding such a conference is to unite lawyers and to harness their expertise for development of the State, said Kanungo. “It will be the largest conference of its kind in the country. About 10,000 lawyers belonging to 160 lawyers’ associations from across the State will participate in the conference,” he said.
Notably, the front had been inaugurated by Patnaik on November 22, 2015.
The State head office of the front is located at the CDA in Cuttack.
Among others, the front’s Rourkela zonal convenor Santosh Nayak, Bhubaneswar convenor Prabir Patnaik, Cuttack convenor Soumendra Ghosh and Brahmapur convenor Gopal Satpathy were present.
