Former Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai has stated that he is still in the ruling BJD though the “BJD left me”. Ghadai, who was expelled from the party a couple of months ago on the charge of anti-party conduct, was on Monday addressing a public meeting at Sukinda, his old Assembly constituency which is now represented by his son Pritiman Ghadai in the Assembly after he was denied party ticket in the last elections.

The junior Ghadai, who was the MlA from the Korei constituency in the previous term, was this time shifted to Sukinda as party supremo Naveen Panaik wanted film star Akash DasNayak to contest from Korei.  Prafulla Ghadai, said “I have been working for Sukinda people since more than five decades. I am still in BJD and doing party work. But BJD left me. Naveen Patnaik does many developmental works, for which we should support him. Some persons with an ill motive hatched a conspiracy against me and I am a victim of their conspiracy. All the conspirators will be unmasked soon.” Earlier, Ghadai distributed winter clothes to poor tribals of Sukinda.
