BJD leaders vent ire on CM, MlA

Several BJD leaders of Sambalpur have started venting their ire and passing blames on the local MlA and party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the poor poll results through social media.

While these leaders have posted comments in social media blaming local MlA Reseswari Panigrahi’s poll strategy, Siddhartha Das, who is a party State executive member, has gone a step ahead. In his social media posting, Das has directly blamed the MlAs and their team for the miserable defeat of the party in the panchayat polls though the party has done many good things for development of the entire district.

He held MlA Panigrahi and her team responsible for the miserable defeat. He said senior leaders of the district were deliberately sent to other districts as observers since the MlA was over confident that she could bring good results to the party, but that didn’t happen and is not going to happen in future, he said.

He further posted ‘that the party has virtually turned to be a platform for outsiders and encroachers from anti-BJD groups, who had not any contribution for the party.

“Fixing of tender, negligence to party workers, involving mafias in the party, land grabbers, exploiters and criminals are now in the party. It has been clearly reflected in results, and the voters have given right verdict,” a social media post of Das read.

While a section of people in BJD have protested such postings, the other section termed it to be appropriate.  After such postings in social media, there has been turmoil in the party.
