The Keonjhar unit of the BJD held its workers’ meet under the chairmanship of Pradip Kumar Das at the local Inspection Bungalow on Sunday.
Over a hundred BJD workers including former Minister Saharai Oram, former BJD block president Sushant Sahoo, former Samiti member Biswanath Pradhan, Dilip Ram, loknath Mohanty and Bikram Pratap Das took part in the meeting.
Das called upon the partymen to make the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD stronger. Besides, all workers unanimously supported the nomination of Oram and Pradip Kumar Das as MP candidate for Keonjhar lok Sabha constituency and MlA candidate for Champua constituency, respectively, in the ensuing general election.
later, the party workers went to Godhuli, Malwanaguda and Bhaliaguda villages and discussed about several issues of the locals.
