like in past years, from October 2, Gandhi Jayanti to October 11, Jayaprakash Narayan Jayanti, the BJD embarked upon a march to strengthen its organisation. In Nimaparaa, this Jansampark Padyatra has been undertaken under the leadership of local MlA Samir Ranjan Dash.
The rally on Monday was participated by more than 2,000 party workers, including youths, students and women. They marched from Jayashree Chhak to Patpur village.
Party Puri district observer and Rajya Sabha member Prasanna Acharya, who joined the rally, blamed the Central Government for its discrimination against Odisha on various matters. MlA Samir Dash also targeted the Centre and its neglect towards Odisha. Block Chairman Manaswini Khatoi, NAC Chairman Santana Prasanna, Prasanna Mohanty, Jibanananda Mohapatra, Sudhir Ranjan Dash, Pradipta Khatoi, Ashok Sahoo and many other leaders participated in the rally.
