The Paradip BJD organised a protest meeting and picketing in front of the refinery project of the IOCL protesting apathy towards the local youths in providing them jobs.
The BJD workers took out a rally led local BJD president Sumanta Kumar Biswal and secretary cum Municipality Chairman Basanta Kumar Biswal.
Health Minister Pratap Jena, Mines Minister Prafulla Chandra Samal,Erasama Balikuda MLA Prasanta Kumar Muduli, MP Dr Kulamani Samal and former ZP president Sabita Mohapatra were present and criticized the Modi Government and the step-motherly attitude of the IOCL in regard to engagement to local youths and land losers.
The leaders also criticised Paradip MLA Dr Damodar Rout for working for his personal interest rather than that of the general public. MP Dr Kulamani Samal presided over the programme which hundreds of people joined.
