The people of the State won’t forgive the Naveen Patnaik-led-BJD Government for their misuse of power to observe the Bandh-turned Hartal on Friday, said leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here.
The BJP leaders said that the Hartal was a Government-sponsored bandh. “If the Ministers give Hartal call, how would Government service holders join their duties,” questioned BJP leader Samir Mohanty.
Mohanty said people of the State are suffering both due to the Centre’s negligence and the State Government’s failure in addressing their issues, but the people would give a fitting reply to this at the right time. It is very indecent to take opportunity of the silence of the people, he added.
