The end of the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government has begun as indicated from the outcome of the elections held on Wednesday in the NACs of Nuapada, Hindol and Attabira in the State.
This was stated by Congress MP Amar Pradhan said in a statement. He said the people of the State have come to realise how the BJD Government is involved in several corruptions during its 13 years of rule.
To divert the attention of the general public from their involvement in corruption, the BJD is misleading the people by accusing the Central Government of neglect towards the State in each and every respect, he added.
Pradhan said the State Government has failed to utilise the Central funds properly, as a result of which the CBI is investigating the bungling of funds in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) scheme in six districts. He also alleged that due to the State's inefficiency, Rs 3 lakh crore has been looted by the mines mafias.
