During his first Koraput visit after becoming leader of the Opposition in State Assembly, Narasingha Mishra on Tuesday said the BJD Government might not last three years in power as the ruling party is divided into groups after Ministers and MlAs are found neck-deep in corruption.
Mishra satirically said there is an ‘Ali Baba Chalis Chor’ type of Government is functioning in the State. The BJD leaders are remaining busy in fighting with themselves in connection with different scams, he added.
The Congress leader said the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) would visit Koraput district and investigate the scams and corruptions made here.
He said there are lots of scams going on in the State and the CBI is investigating the chit fund scam where many BJD leaders are involved. The CBI would uncover the truth and bring several political persons from the ruling party to the public fore.
Mishra was felicitated by the Koraput District Congress Committee. During felicitation, Mishra said the party leaders and workers should go to the rural areas and make people aware about the corruption of the Government and work with the people to win their trust.
