BJD Govt has failed on all fronts: BJP

The BJD Government has failed to keep its promises in all sectors, and the law and order situation has worsened across the State, alleged BJP general secretary Bhrugu Baxipatra after a meeting of his party’s State functionaries and in-charges of all 32 organisational districts here on Sunday.

“The BJD had promised to provide pucca ghar, drinking water and NFSA cards to eligible persons and to appoint teachers and doctors sufficiently. Besides, it had promised and to create employment opportunities for youths. The Government has failed on all these fronts,” said Baxipatra.

He said the Government is now trying to hoodwink people by announcing probe commissions for Bargarh and Kandhamal incidents. “The law and order situation has worsened. The State Government is only hoodwinking people by forming probe commissions,” said Baxipatra.

The meeting presided over by State president Basanta Panda was attended by national general secretary Arun Singh, national joint general secretary (organisation) Soudan Singh and State general secretary Sharada Prasad Satpathy.
