BJD Govt believes in work: Ghadai

A grand reception was on Monday given to BJD leader and former Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai at Sukinda.

Ghadai said, "The Naveen Patnaik Government believes in work and not in word. It has launched a plethora of welfare projects with an aim to bring an all-round development.”

The Government is determined to mitigate poverty, for which it started a one-rupee-rice scheme, Mo Kudia and many other poverty alleviation programmes.

It recently launched the KALIA scheme to help farmers, landless people and sharecroppers, he said.

Despite many successes, the State’s future development rests mainly on rapid industrialisation, said Ghadai, adding that the Government is focusing on infrastructure development for the purpose.
