The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI) against the BJD for allegedly distributing money among the voters by using 108 Ambulances and police jeeps in the State.
The party alleged that the BJD is using money and muscle power and misusing the Government machinery to gain votes.The BJD is distributing money in the police vehicles under the guidance of some police officials, the Congress alleged.AICC secretary and deputy in-charge of party affairs in the State Subhankar Sarkar lodged the complaint with the ECI while PCC vice-president Gurupada Nanda lodged the complaint with Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mona Sharma demanding action against the senior police officials.
