Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and mission for the country, more than a hundred workers of the BJD, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday.

The workers including Biranchi Nayak, Prabodh Kumar Pal, Bikash Sahu, Sankarshan Pal and Milan Paikray joined the BJP on the first day of the saffron party’s membership drive in Bhubaneswar district. They came with the BJP youth workers in a bike procession to the State party office here.

They joined the BJP in the presence of the party’s Odisha in-charge Arun Singh, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, senior leaders Biswabhushan Harichandan, Bijay Mohapatra, Pratap Sarangi and other leaders. Singh asserted that the party would form Government in the State in 2019 with a thumping majority. “Our party is getting very good response from common people in the State,” he added.
