The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Minority Cell observed the World Minorities Rights Day, which is held to protect the rights of minority communities recognising their contributions to nation-building and to ensure the security of minorities in their particular languages, castes, religions, cultures and traditions. A meeting was organised here with BJD State Minority Cell president and Member of Rajya Sabha Mulibulla (Muna) Khan attending it as chief guest.
Khan elaborated about the rights of minorities in the present society.
