The Orissa High Court on Friday yet again deferred hearing on the bail application of arrested BJD MlA Pravat Ranjan Biswal as the CBI failed to submit the case diary (CD) in the court.
The CBI had arrested the three-time MlA in September for his alleged complicities in the Seashore chit fund scam.
For the second time on Friday, the prosecution failed to submit the CD as was sought, following which Justice Biswanath Rath posted the matter to be taken up again after two weeks. The CBI has also been asked to submit a report on latest health status of Biswal, who is currently undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College Hospital
