To avoid any untoward situation, Rourkela ASP SC Jamadar along with other officers and five platoons of forces were present on the spot.

Expressing anger, VHP leader Rabindra Panda said while these types of incidents are happening repeatedly  in the area, yet the administration has remained a mute spectator.

“A few days back such an incident had occurred at the local Jagannath temple. If police do not arrest the culprits soon, we will expedite the agitation,” he threatened.

However, ASP Jamadar said the situation was under control and police are on job to nab the culprits soon.
