The State Government continued to effect reshuffle in the IAS level for consecutive third day on Saturday by shifting at least 11 IAS officers.
Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Secretary Bishnupada Sethi was posted as the Secretary, Rural Development with additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).
Madhu Sudan Padhi of 1991 batch was named as new Transport Commissioner while 1992-batch officer CS Kumar posted as Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
Similarly, 1996-batch officer Vir Vikram Yadav was appointed as Secretary of Excise Department. He would continue as Secretary, Science and Technology Department.
Vishal Gagan of 1998-batch) was posted as Secretary, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development with additional charge of MD, Omfed.
Bhasker Jyoti Sarma of 1999-batch was appointed as the Special Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department.
Srikant Prusty of 2003-batch was named Additional Secretary of the Higher Education Department while 2004-batch officer Roopa Mishra posted Drinking Water and Sanitation Director. She is given additional charge of the Orissa Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA).
likewise, 2007-batch Sachin R Jadav was posted as new labour Commissioner while 2008-batch officer M Muthukumar appointed as Director, Horticulture.
