Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), social arm of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys ltd (IMFA), in partnership with Global Health Strategies, will
organise a panel discussion entitled, ‘Immunization for all: Improving Child Health’ on November 19 here.
The purpose of the panel discussion is to provide stakeholders a common platform to advocate on the value of vaccines and to spread awareness among people on the need to immunize every child for their healthy future. A simple and effective life-saving health intervention such as vaccines has the potential to prevent large scale child deaths caused by preventable diseases like pneumonia and diarrhoea.
To this end, there is a need for champions to participate in national and regional discussions, policies and programmes. Participants in the panel discussion will include State Government officials from the relevant ministries, development professionals, |mediapersons and civil society organizations.
