Noted social activists Sashiprava Bindhani and lN Patnaik are likely to be the next two information commissioner of the State. The selection committee headed by Chief Minister and comprising leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Narasingha Mishra and Parliament Affairs Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh as members on Saturday recommended Bindhani and Patnaik’s name to the Governor for appointment.
Notably, the post of State Chief Information Commissioner and a post of Member Information Commissioner have been lying vacant since long.
