Two motorcycle thieves underwent a trial in a Kangaro court organised by locals and later were thrashed after tying them to a pole at
Badakumari village under the Umarkote police limits on Monday.
A video of the entire incident posted on social media went viral and caused a flutter.
The villagers opted for the street justice as they wanted that the thieves get a lesson and don’t repeat the crime. They also warned the miscreants of not stealing any bike ever again. They later handed them over to the police.
The police recovered two stolen bikes from the possession of the duo and were investigating the matter, said the Umarkote police station IIC.
