The Utkal Sammilani on Sunday observed the 101st birth anniversary of legendary Biju Patnaik at the Path Utsav here on Sunday in a unique way.
The Sammilani held an Odia Olympiad in which questions about Odisha were asked and prizes were awarded. Many people from tiny tots to senior citizens took part enthusiastically.
The function was presided over by Utkal Sammilani Mancheswar branch president Dillip Dashsharma. Utkal Sammilani State president Guru Prasad Mohanty, branch vice-president Sital Chandra Mohanty, secretary Gobinda Chandra Subudhi, joint secretary Ashok Kumar Paltasingh, Nalinikanta Mohanty, Dwarikanath Mohanty, Prasanna Kumar Rath, Siba Prasad Mishra, Maheswar Biswal, Akshay Kumar Jethi and Mamata Behera were, among others, present.
