Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab and Rajya Sabha member Kalpataru Das will be BJD Parliamentary Party (BJDPP) leaders in lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, respectively.
BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced this after chairing the meeting at the Naveen Nivas here on Saturday.
The meeting also decided that Tathagata Satpathy and Dilip Tirkey would be Chief Whips in the lower and Upper House of Parliament, respectively. Ramchandra Hansdah will be the secretary in the lok Sabha. Similarly, Pinaki Mishra has been entrusted with the charge of maintaining coordination between the BJD Parliamentary Party members in both the Houses.
Baijayant Panda and Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo will be the spokespersons in Delhi.
