State Governor and Chancellor of Berhampur University Dr JS Jamir will inaugurate the annual function of the Students’ Union of the university at Bhanja Bihar on April 20.
He will also inaugurate Jhanjabati, the fourth ladies’ hostel constructed out of an UGC grant of Rs 1.25 crore.
Dr Jamir will spend the night at the Golabandha Military Canteen Guest House. After assuming the office of Governor, this is his first visit to any university in his capacity as Chancellor.
The officials of the Berhampur University are working hard to make the new Chancellor’s visit to the campus successful and memorable. There is enthusiasm among the students and scholars to receive the new Chancellor with an array of hopes for the university’s development.
