The AICC has appointed senior Congress leader and Kalahandi MP Bhakta Charan Das as a party spokesperson. This was announced by AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Sunday reconstituted the team of AICC spokespersons by adding Mohan Prakash, Shakeel Ahmed, Bhakta Charan Das, Raj Babbar and Meem Afzal into the panel. While Renuka Chowdhury, PC Chacko and Sandeep Dikshit continued in the team of spokespersons headed by Janardan Dwivedi, Prakash and Ahmed were brought back to the team.
