The Bhumiputra Swabhiman Manch organised a ‘Sankalp Samabesh’ at Begunia on Saturday under the chairmanship of former local Sarpanch Naba Kishore Swain.
Social activist Bhikari Charan Sahu, Botalma Sarpanch Bharat Charan Chhotray, State Kinner Association president Meera Parida, educationist Godavarish Patnaik, Kahnu Charan Nag and many other prominent attended the programme.
They condemned the move of different political parties for fielding candidates from outside even if the area has many befitting persons.
They threatened that if anyone is made a candidate from outside, they would strongly oppose it.
