Continuing its drive to check flesh trade here, the Commissionerate Police on Sunday conducted raids on beauty parlours in laxmisagar area and held four persons for allegedly involving in the trade.
While one of the arrested is the proprietor of a beauty parlour, one is a client and the other two are sex workers, said laxmisagar police station IIC Pravash Chandra Pal.
“After getting specific information we raided Khusub beauty parlour in Budhhanagar and arrested two men and rescued two girls. The arrested persons include proprietor of the beauty parlour MD Huder Ali, client Prasanta Rout and two girls,” said Pal.
