BDA land sale deed delay: Allottee harassed

Published on:

There is widespread  resentment among the people here due to inordinate delay in execution  of housing land sale deed by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) to the land allottees.

Writing a letter to the Chief Minister, one aggrieved victim Prakash Kumar Mohapatra, who is a senior citizen, urged the Government in general and BDA in particular  to give justice to the people in issuing the land deed in a time-bound manner. The BDA, 35 years back, had allotted a land at Kalinganagar to Mohapatra who was working in a Government of India Undertaking. Even the stamp paper of Rs 42,000 was  given  for sale deed purpose five years back by him. In spite of all the submissions, land deed was not executed in favour of allottee, lamented Mohapatra.  Again ,now BDA was insisting for indemnity bond ,which was not inTara Dutta Committee  Report, he said.
