The 11th Triennial Circle General Council Meeting of the State Bank of India Staff Association (SBISA), Bhubaneswar Circle, was held on Sunday. All India State Bank of India Staff Federation general secretary and convenor, United Forum of Bank Unions, Sanjeev Kumar Bandlish was chief guest at the mammoth gathering.
SBI General Manager Subhromoy Mukherjee and All India State Bank of India Staff Federation president Arun Bhagoliwal also addressed the meeting on the role of banking industry in Indian economy in the present scenario, the challenges to be faced in future and all-round development of the entire banking fraternity.
Over 2,000 general members, presidents and general secretaries of SBI staff association/ unions from all States, former leaders, management personnel, members from the sister concerns were present. The meeting was presided over by SBISA, Bhubaneswar Circle general secretary Nityananda Behera. Raghunath Prasad Das delivered the welcome speech. Reception Committee chairman Tapan Kumar Pal extended a vote of thanks.
