Bhubaneswar on Saturday registered a comparatively low of 163 new Covid-19 positive cases. With this, the total positives’ tally in the city rose to 97,695.
Out of the new cases, 163 were local contacts and 44 quarantine cases.
The local contacts included eight cases each in Patia and Khandagiri and seven each in Saheed Nagar and Nayapalli.
The active cases stood at 1,863 in the city.
Meanwhile, 25 more patients succumbed to the disease in the city, with which the total death toll mounted to 736.
However, 116 persons recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 95,075.
