City-based voluntary organisation Bhubaneswar Maha Sangathan held a get-together of members on occasion of its fifth anniversary here on Wednesday.
Attending as chief guest, Mayfair Hotels and Resorts managing director Jayant Ray said, “Even our small helps will bring smiles on the faces of needy and downtrodden people”.
He urged upon the youths to do social works from their heart and not to publish them on mass media or social media.
Similarly, Chief speaker Dhaneswar Nayak urged the youths to find some time for their busy schedule to do social work.
The organisation, which is working for last five years for women empowerment, providing reliefs to people during natural calamities and welfare of slum dwellers, has more than 250 youth members.
Many youths were felicitated for their exemplary social work on the occasion.
Among others, littu Routray, Pravat Kumar Martha, Deepak Sahoo and Nihar Ranjan Swain were present. Prakash Kumar Mallick coordinated the programme.
