In an upward trend again, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday registered 357 new Covid-19 positive cases, with which the total tally in the State capital city mounted to 96,422.Out of the new cases, 282 were local contacts and 75 quarantine cases. The local contacts included 21 cases in Chandrasekharpur, 19 in Khandagiri, 16 in Old Town, 13 in Badagarh, 11 in Nayapalli, 10 each in Mancheswar, IRC Village, Dumduma and Patia and eight each in Patrapada and Saheed Nagar, The active cases stood at 1,494 in the city. Meanwhile, 13 more patients succumbed to the disease in the city, increasing the total death toll to 666. However, 252 persons recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 94,241.
