Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced that the proposed medical college at Baripada would be named after Pandit Raghunath Murmu.
“late pandit Raghunath Murmu had developed the Olchiki script for Santhali language. He has made immense contribution for Santhali literature,” Patnaik said. Sources said the Chief Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation of the proposed medical college on May 18.
